Stat Priority for Havoc Demon Hunters in PvP
The stat priority for Havoc Demon Hunter in PvP is as follows:
- Agility;
- Mastery;
- Versatility;
- Haste;
- Critical Strike.
Agility is the best stat in all situations. Mastery ( Mastery: Demonic Presence)is the strongest secondary stat at all times due to it increasing yourChaos damage and movement speed. You should also try to focus on gettingVersatility. This will reduce the damage you take while increasing youroverall damage.

Gear Recommendations
2.1.
General Guidelines
In general, as a Havoc Demon Hunter, you want to get trinkets that increaseyour damage or survivability. These trinkets can have a passive or on-useeffect. The stat you want to be increasing is Versatility or Agility. Thereason you want to increase both of these stats is because they both increaseyour overall damage output, and the Versatility will help you surviveeasier. Here is the best gear we recommend you use as a Havoc Demon Hunter.

As noted above, acquiring both your 2-set and 4-set bonus is crucial.It is also important to note that ALL tier sets are nerfed by 50% in PvP.Although this nerf is significant, tier sets are still important to acquireto maximize your chances of winning. For Havoc Demonhunter, this is yourtier set:
- Demon Hunter Havoc 10.1 Class Set 2pc — Blade Danceautomatically triggers Throw Glaive on your primary target for 100%damage, and each slash has a 50% chance to Throw Glaive an enemy for 35%damage. This is great for increasing both your single-target and cleavedamage.
- Demon Hunter Havoc 10.1 Class Set 2pc — Throw Glaivereduces the remaining cooldown of The Hunt by 2 seconds, andThe Hunt's damage over time effect lasts 6 seconds longer.

Havoc Demon Hunter Embellishments
Embelishments are bonuses that can be put on crafted gear. These affectscan have a drastic impact on the game. You are only allowed to have 2Embellishments equipped at the same time. Here are the recommendedEmbellishments for Havoc Demon Hunters:
- Blue Silken Lining greatly increases the Mastery of the playerwhen they are above 90% health. This is great for increasing the benefitof Mastery: Demonic Presence.
- Shadowflame-Tempered Armor Patch is an embellishment thatdeals damage to enemies. This will significantly increase your damageoutput. This should be crafted on your helm.
- Infurious Footwraps of Indemnity. These Embellishment Bootsgive you a primary stat increase when you successfully interrupt,crowd control, or dispel an enemy. These are automatically crafted onyour boots.
