The stat priority for Survival Hunter in PvP is as follows:

1. Agility;
2. Versatility to at least 30%;
3. Haste to 30%;
4. Critical Strike;
5. Versatility over 35%.

Agility is the best stat in all situations. You will want a balance ofVersatility and Haste that you are comfortable with and then to focus onCritical Strike rating.

There is a slight increasing diminishing return on secondary stats past 30%,further increased past 40%. You are unlikely to pass 40% of any stat exceptVersatility, and if you are at 40% Versatility, you should change some ofit to Haste or Critical Strike.

As a general rule, you want Versatility between 30-35%, Haste at around 30%,and the rest of your stats going towards Critical Strike chance.

If you do not have enough Versatility, you will take a lot of damage andlikely find yourself dying more often than you otherwise would.

If you do not have enough Haste, you will not be able to use all of the globalcooldowns and abilities required to set up crowd control and burst targets downbefore the enemy is able to crowd control you, kite or use defensives.

You should have Versatility as your highest stat anyway, but ifyou are using the embellished piece of gear Venom-Steeped Stompers,Versatility should absolutely be your highest stat.

Conquest vendor PvP Gear will always have Versatility and then a second statwhich will be either Haste, Mastery, or Critical Strike Rating.

Almost every piece of conquest gear has a Haste option which you should takeif your Haste is below 30%.

If you have too much Versatility, the easiest way to transfer it to Haste orCrit is to craft the PvP Rings ( Ring-Bound Hourglass and Signet of Titanic Insight) and neck Torc of Passed Time.

Survival Hunter Dragonflight Season 3 tier bonuses:

• (2) Set Bonus: Fury of the Eagle increases you and your pet's critical strikechance by 15% and critical damage dealt by 15% for 12 sec.
• (4) Set Bonus: Fury of the Eagle throws a free Wildfire Bomb at your currenttarget at 100% effectiveness, causes your next Wildfire Bomb to not incur acooldown, and increases the damage Wildfire Bomb deals to your primarytarget by 40% for 12 sec.

The tier set this season leans into Fury of the Eagle, which because of thistier set is now a mandatory talent for Survival.

Be aware that it is only the first tick of Fury of the Eaglethat will instantly throw a Wildfire Bomb, so if you press it when you arenot in melee range of an enemy, the 4-set bonus will not throw a free bomb.

The free bomb thrown by the 4-set bonus will always be the same as thecurrently active bomb from Wildfire Infusion, and after it is thrown, yourWildfire Infusion will rotate to the next bomb.

Because only the legs of this tier set have Mastery, and your stat priorityincludes Versatility Haste and Crit, you do not lose any stats for playingwith this 4-set.

I recommend that you get the 4-set bonus with Shoulders, Chest, Gloves and legs(leaving the Head because it has the Mastery stat, which is the worst statfor Survival).

I recommend that you play:

• Infurious Boots of Reprieve for the high uptime buff to your Agility
• Adaptive Dracothyst Armguards for consistent increases to yoursecondary stats

This combination of embellishments will give you consistent damage throughouta PvP encounter.

Alternatively, you can play:

• Venom-Steeped Stompers for the bonus to your preferred stat (ifit's increasing your Versatility the proc is around a 10% damage increase withanother piece of gear embellished with Toxified Armor Patch)
• Flame-Touched Helmet with Toxified Armor Patch toincrease the bonus from the Venom Steeper Stompers (or apply Toxified Armor Patch to any other piece of crafted PvP gear)

This combination is less consistent but provides the maximum burst damagefrom embellished gear pieces.

• Ring-Bound Hourglass (and/or Signet of Titanic Insight) withstats as Versatility and Haste or Critical Strike
• Torc of Passed Time with stats as Versatility and Haste or Critical Strike

Note: It is important to be wearing 2 PvP trinkets. This will give you anAgility and Stamina boost that will increase your damage and survivability.

Verdant Gladiator's Medallion is a mandatory trinket to haveequipped at all times for non-human players. This allows you to remove any crowdcontrol on yourself. Humans can use this trinket to have a shorter (90-second)the cooldown on escaping stuns, for example, into Rogue Mage teams.

Verdant Gladiator's Insignia of Alacrity increases your Haste and hasa chance to proc your primary stat. This is an overall strong trinket, as thestat will proc often throughout an arena match (and will generally proc veryearly when your cooldowns are active).

Verdant Gladiator's Badge of Ferocity grants you some Crit and apowerful Agility on-use every minute. Synchronize this with Death Chakram.

Verdant Gladiator's Emblem increases your maximum health when used.This gives you an additional defensive when you think a team is focusing you oryou think they are about to stun and burst you. A good example of when you willwant to use this trinket is when facing Rogue Mage teams.

• Belt: Shadowed Belt Clasp
• Cloak: Enchant Cloak - Homebound Speed
• Chest: Enchant Chest - Waking Stats/ Enchant Chest - Accelerated Agility(Accelerated Agility is generally preferred in most situations but Waking Statsis a slight damage and health increase if you prefer).
• Rings: Enchant Ring - Devotion of Haste/ Enchant Ring - Devotion of Critical Strike
• Weapon Enchant: Enchant Weapon - Sophic Devotion

You should use one Fierce Illimited Diamond/ Resplendent Illimited Diamond/ Inscribed Illimited Diamonddepending on your stat needs, and Radiant Malygite/ Radiant Alexstraszite/ Energized Ysemerald/ Crafty Alexstraszitedepending on whether you want more Versatility, Haste or Critical Strike.
